Well, its official all tent sites are filled and you cant book an RV without an actual RV camper... They are providing me with spillover into Mckinney across the way, but I figured I'd ask, how big are the tent sites, and is anyone with a party of 1 or 2 willing to share a site with me and 3 buddies??

WOW this booked up fast!

Idea take a sheet of plywood set it on your trailer then put your tent up on it and call it your RV.

They will just think you are from Alabama.

that is what I am saying......does anybody that has a site willing to let another tent in.......we (my buddies and I)would probably pay for your site for you. we will share our women!! :sneaky:

Really?????? Even if you keep the tent where the RV would go. I figure if you pay for the spot, what would they care if it's a tent or an RV.:frown:

Oh well, if that's the case, hopefully the camp across the lake can accomidate the overflow of peeps.:smile:

Already asked if I could do that... seriously, they said it has to have appliances and a bed to qualify, and no a conversion van that has a seat/bed in back doesnt count...

I'll just book at Mckinney, however my buddies wont be skiing, so its a PITA

Yea, they wont let you book RV without an RV, they also charge you a no-show fee if you dont show up.

Cant wait to get down there this year thanks Jr. and crew!

Ha ha I traded a seadoo for a pull behind Scotty camper,scored a waterfront site this morning to put it on too .It is not a piece of plywood on a trailer,it has appliances ,a shower and a bed and yes I am from Alabama.

Is there a person at Mckinney that I can actually talk to? Its really hard to decide what to get without pictures and no one I've talked to can answer any questions I've had (they outsourced for reservation hotline)
