Super Jet squarenose- lowered hood, nose job, widened tray, 701 swap

find someone to make a mold of your hood, than you can sell them rather than have people do mods or ask you to mod their hood.

I was considering it actually... It's going to depend on how this one turns out and how many people would actually be interested in one. Either way it probably won't be happening until after summer when things slow down for me at work. I am really flattered though either way!

try and cut a hole in a hood then make both sides even and ready for paint. Not as easy as it seems.

The last square I worked on, I was into the hood for the same amount of time I was into the whole hull for with fiberglass work.

I like that nose and hood. Will look great with the poll attached. Looks like a lot of work. Before this did you have experience with fiberglass and foam work?

I've never worked with foam before... That layer of 17oz I layed over the fuel fill hole sums up my fiberglass experience ha

make sure you get some rollers. air is your enemy with glass. larger sheets are best, also it helps to lay a sheet of glass over your area the day or so before, the glass will contour to the area.
don't try to glass over sharp corners you'll get air pockets every time. it's a very stress ful process. also recommend getting a dremel tool for little areas when need be.

good luck.

Let me see the bottom off the hood
