Stunt Hull: Build-up Kit

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Here's one of the new hoods before paint.

I'll extend the Christmas Special Price of $1499 until Jan. 5th since I was late getting the hood pictures up.

Thanks,

Dan

So, no Breather inlets suppled?

Answer me this, what size holes will need to be cut and at what locations to 1. provide adequate airflow for your motor to operate correctly and 2. As to locations, what is going to be the best location for proper airflow with out letting excess water intrusion?

I don't know if Dan has this information in the instructions but isn't that part of the fun that's involved with building the hull yourself as opposed to having someone else build it to suit everyones elses riding style? When mcdog asked about breather holes I immediately started brainstorming on the best method for "feeding the beast". You could run only handlepole breather tubes. If you like tailstands but don't have the handlepole breathers, you could put the breather up in the front of the hood but if you like doing subs or fakey subs, you could put the breathers in the back of the hood so the hood doesn't scoop the water into the hull like the SN hood.

to some extent yes, to some no.

Dan should be including something in the instructions with possible hood opening locations - and minimum required openings (in square inches) for an engine to breathe.

What's fun about breaking untested stuff?

Any pics of the liner or hood seal? or is that not part of the kit?

I ran (2) 2in holes in the rear of the hood with no pole breather and it supplied a gp800 with 48mm carbs with enough air. If something is not in the instructions all a customer has to do is shoot me an e-mail. I usually check my e-mail at least twice a day.

This isn't rocket science, if you can't figure out where to put your hood breathers you have no buisness building the hull.

Jeez, really? If a person can't figure out how & where to put in drain & breather holes then they need a complete ready to ride hull, not a 'kit'.

Does the hood come with a liner that the customer installs or make their own liner?
