Good to hear it's coming along. Hopefully you can make it this weekend. I'm curious to know how your hull rides compared to mine.

This is where the adjustable poles come in so handy.

Any chance you can borrow one from somebody so you can try out different lengths and then make just one purchase once you get it nailed down?

Just seen your post,Boyer.Sorry l didn't answer you!

l wish l could have done that.We just have a couple of rrp poles and that's it.But no one around here does crazy poop like building your own jet ski.l hope l got the craze started around here.

Some pics of the pole and my air holes.l used #80 pvc 3/4 I/D threaded and barbed connectors.l bought some caps to screw on,but before installing l cut the end of the cap off, rounded them off and then put Frogzkins screens in them to keep the water out.Go ahead and someone tell me they look redneck! lf l chromed them, they would be!! How about some stacks on there going straight up.lol

I think they look good. not as redneck as you made them sound. I may have to do the same thing. Is the pvc barbed on the inside or something pretty much just like a large pvc water fitting that you would normally use for your water lines?

Thought l would resurrect this old Stunt Hull thread for those coming in now.Seems like there has been some comments made lately (myself included) about the quality of some a/m hulls and their manufacturers.
This ol' thread will give you an idea of what to look for and not make mistakes like l and others have made in the past. This build will show that you can make a turd look good, but in the long run,it's still a turd.

What it did provide for me was a $1700 (just the "kit") base for building hulls now.And all the mistakes l made

I saw a blue one pop up for sale in Texas about 5 years ago. I was thinking it might’ve been Brock’s.

I know there is one up in Wisconsin, unsure of the color.
