SuperFreak Carbon Topdeck conversion (Finnished)

sjetrider

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
so removing top deck and foam took out 48.2 #? Wow, woulda never thunk it. So add new foam and a 19# top deck and reinforcing and your looking at bout 91# from 109#. Dang, I always thought there wasnt much to save weight wise on a top deck.

does anyone know the weight difference betrween an OEM SN and OEM RN?

Picked my hull up tonight!.... 83.8 pounds bonded, carbon exhaust tube, scupper tube, front foot hold and back footholds, sides carbon reinforced , rickter nose carbon reinforced (with added rocker) , 1/4 cooling lines with trim tube, pump shoe

Here are some pictures .... i will be preping it this week getting ready for paint!
Thank you lucas for picking it up. and Tem thank you for all the extra work you put into this.

That looks really nice, Corey! Hard to believe it is a former SN.

You are going to love the lightweight, floaty superfreaky ride.

got the hood and nose piece today. The nose piece needs to be fitted still so it looks weird but i will start prepping now! i already started sanding a little.

Alright so i sanded for about 4 hours today and got the nose where i want it....Also sanded down the inside... I will be clear coating the carbon inside aswell as painting the stock hull color part either black or white.
Need to use some 410 to fill a couple holes and then off to paint (and by off to paint i mean in my garage).... I should be primed and painting by fri or saturday.
Im using awgrip epoxy primer and i havent found the paint im using yet. I do know the color scheme it will be red with white hood and bottom... black decals. black pole. White turf around red turf where i stand
