This doesn't look like much progress but its been a lot of time shaping. Trying to get it back to OEM Berky specs!

Yeah Jace, that's my tentative goal. Gotta get this done first...and then find someone to go along for the road trip. Glory is out. :(

Sealed up, just a bit more filler to smooth out all the holes and bumps.
Tray is also sealed back up, forgot to take pics though.
Almost time for turf...

looks like im doing the same thing tonight actually. Why did you go with 2 different firmnesses? you going to pad the toehold?

I mostly did it because the black plush pad is so much harder to sand and shape. I want to be able to sand down into the footholds deep enough to allow me to use the 1" plush on the tops of the footholds.

And yes i will be padding the front foothold, just not sure how... yet.

It depends... if it was structural, i used west system with 404 adhesive powder blended in it. If it was mostly cosmetic i used their microlight filler powder, or i used this killer blue superfil lightweight aircraft filler.

So the chop job is long done, driveshaft/midshaft issues are sorted out and I'm still working on turf and assembly. So here are some random pics from the build:

You better pick up the pace or you're going to make a short CO riding season even shorter..... or spend another summer on big red

lf you haven't turfed yet, throw some more padding on the bottom of those footholds.l have the thick plush on the tray and tops of mine and it is nice and tight.

Don - there is about 1.5" of black underpad beneath the white. Gonna feel like a lazyboy...
