Thanks man, it really makes it feel like its all paying off.

Mike it doesn't appear there's enough meat on the inlet of the waterbox to clamp the bpipe coupler to?

I had to section out a piece of the inlet on the H20 box to get it to work and then use a 45 degree coupler to connect it to the pipe. The end piece was just taped on for mock up I still need to get it welded back on.

SkiDiggity yea no problem it just might take me a few years with the pace I've been working at. Lol welcome to the worlds slowest ski build!

Tonight I dry fit the pump shoe, intake grate and pump and got everything lined up with the CF alignment tool. If you don't have one of those then go buy one right now, those things are awesome. Need to silicone the shoe in now and get a shim kit from the maniac so I can move on to the next step.

That's one very great looking ski, and the carbon work you have done is indeed incredible.
Wish I only had these skills.
It's just great to see everything you've done to the ski.
Going to try your technique with applying the fiber, hope I get it working and the result like you have.
Thanks for sharing

Mikey thanks for sharing the build! This is a beautiful ski with exceptional craftsmanship! I have a few questions for you as I start to do some similar work to my ski. What did u lay over the styro foam in the tray before you covered it with tape? Why did u cover the tray and gunwalls with tape before you layed the biax and carbon?

After the polypropylene sheet foam I poured 2 part urethane foam to fill in the big gaps. Once I got it close with that I mixed up epoxy resin with micro balloons to create a light filler that I used to seal everything up and get a nice surface for the glass to lay down smoothly on. I used all the tape to make templates for the glass and carbon material.

Thanks! Got my tray mostly cleaned out and the rear cut down tonight. Im interested to see how your going to lay your turf over the tops of the tray sides

Dropped the waterbox off at a local fab shop friday to have the inlet welded back on and then I picked up a battery. Once I get the waterbox back I can try to finish up the rest of the exhaust.
