I haven't made one completely yet or abused it to make sure it will hold up, so as of yet I have no firm price. I know what I want it to be, and I am pretty sure it will be the same or less than the original. I will start working out what the steering will be next week. and unfortunately it will have to have a lowered pole mount. something I hadn't considered was the pole stop and all the crap on the stocker that is in the way. The plan was to use as much stock stuff as possible to keep costs down. pole mount, steering setup, bars, etc just add to the cost. but so far all the stock steering setups are weak or bulky and its not going as I had hoped. so back to the tried and true. I have a few other options I want to explore. And it helps when you want to see what the options are that you have a hood to measure and mount to. :dunno:

I had some raised edges and lots of lines on the square and it was just not falling together like I saw it in my mind, and when you look at the square it has a gentle curve across the top so I just ran it up to the top. I will extend body line a little ways into the hood and then fade it out and I am going to make a recess for the fuel fill and make the whole front plastic and rubber nose one piece. so say goodbye to all that junk!!!:cheer:

I am excited, I still have a lot of work to do. the nose the liner. its all seems easy and fast till you actually have to make a living and have a life and then somehow find the time and money to put into this effort. plus its not really all that fast or easy to do. I am still stoked. I wish I could just put everything on hold and work a solid week on the two other molds I want to make.

reality is I am just gonna be able to make the sxr hood and the sj conversion and then I am broke.

gonna go see a friend about making some steering setups.

Don't listen to him...he's full of bananas :bananajump:

Looks real good tom but I would highly recommend making a flange for the molds otherwise it will be somewhat difficult to pull the parts.
