Looks real good tom but I would highly recommend making a flange for the molds otherwise it will be somewhat difficult to pull the parts.

Yea a flange will be needed if you want to eventually vacuum bag those hoods.

yep and yep- already started on that and also it helps to have a stable base so the damn thing doesn't move around while you are layin up.:dance:

laying em up today. started gelcoat yesterday and the first layer. the steering is being worked on and as soon as I get that worked out I will know how much. should be less than 1500. let you know once its all put together and i have a complete materials cost.

here it is. the liner and hood fit perfectly to the hull. still have some small details to take care of but the hard part is over. bringing it to daytona see it on the beach.

looks like the weight (scientifically derived using math and a very high tech(crappy) bathroom scale) is gonna be about 12 lbs.
