i got a stock steering from an older style gp1200 i can give you some dimensions if needed, and even send one to you to try if you think it will work.

this thing is pretty stout. we just put one in my buddies blaster. its a bit shorter than a blaster but, he seems to like it. i haven't ridden it yet but soon.

ill snap some shots of wifeys wfx-2 hood and steering. it uses a umi from a gp800 that has been raised 2" and tilted back about 22*.

I am not stuck for steering- I am having one made by x-metal. they will supply it for all the hoods. Cheaper than umi.

designed specifically for this setup.

and may work for other setups as well.

couldn't wait any longer and had to make the hood with umi steering instead. figure I would finish this thread out with a link to the for sale thread and the first owners feedback.
