Looking good Jett.... I thought about using 1 of these running under my tray. Or maybe just clamped to the outside of the hull:icon16:

Is that an actual Jetcraft resonator or a different brand? I remember him making those for Kawi's to go in the left side of the hull.

Don't ever sell it if it is, they are very rare and really nice.

I knew you'd recognize that:party: It's not mine but borrowed from a friends stash.

If only x-metal would start making their's like Jetcraft's with a spiral louvered core, they'd actually be quiet and still lightweight and sound awesome.

I converted my tank to internal fill like 2lick's with the cap/filler where the pickup is, and will attach the pickup assembly where the filler used to be. I really like that setup, very clean and functional for internal fill.

Just laid up my exhaust tube. About 8" long, 2" thick (the exhaust tube that is) out of 17oz biax, around 3 wraps.

I'm doing it with my poor man's vacuum bagging method that works surprisingly well.

wax paper on pvc pipe, wrap fiberglass around that, then plastic wrap around that to hold it, then start in the middle and stretch electric tape around it to the ends to force resin out. It maintains tension to squeeze even more resin out as it sets.

Tomorrow I'll lay up the end pieces for shortening the hull.

I'm going 2", enough to notice but not too severe hopefully.

I'm a little worried about it though since I'm not going to have a waterbox up from plus run a tiny battery and think the nose might ride way too high.

So, you'll be moving your footholds farther forward and running a much shorter pole, right?

I'll have the ability to move my handlepole bracket forward another 2.5" if needed, but yes the footholds will be further forward than normal/last hull.

:stooges: When did you decide to shorten it? A couple of days ago you were quite adimate that you were not going to mess with it. :dunno: Damm you Jett for toying with my emotions. Next thing you know you will be putting in a kawi motor.....:puke:

I have a WDK dry pipe to put on, plus a few other goodies. Did I mention that?

Wow! My head just exploded and i shiat my pants all at the same time :twak:

I still have that diablo hood kit. Only 1.2lbs heavier than that other one :shhh: And it won't crack if you look at it the wrong way :stups:

I'm covering the entire hood with carbon/kevlar. <<<---possibility actually!
