Q, didn't see your post until this morning. I was too busy prepping my ski to ride the incredible swell BILL is is spitting this weekend. I could write a novel here but I am not on this site to create drama and this will be my last post directed to you on this subject.
Don't worry about humiliating me, there is nothing anyone on an internet forum can write that will humiliate me. It is my opinion that YOUR EGO got a little bruised when i pointed out you had the names of the storms wrong (or maybe you weren't following that closely). No big deal, I was just having a little fun. You turned it into more long posts with red highlights and bold letters to CYA and turn things back on me.
If I make it out to Sebby sometime maybe we can have that drink (no talk about weather though).

This is “wetaded yankee Ryan”, standing in the shoreline during “mere” (I say that only in comparison to any size hurricane) Tropical Storm Hanna last year. I guess he thought it would make a really cool vid to show his lil buddies. Waves aren’t big…doesn’t matter at all...could look like "glass" even. He keeps getting knocked onto his butt, because the massive amounts of sand, underneath his feet, is being displaced with rapid force (suction from the cyclone out at sea). He is extremely lucky he didn’t get easily sucked out to sea. The force of that water is wickedly deceiving and immense. He could have been standing ten feet back, and a “rouge wave” push through out of nowhere (happens all the time).
You can have three bilges in your ski, super glue the hood on, and it won’t matter when you get easily knocked off like a mosquito.
One of your buddies is going to try to save you, and suffer the same misfortune.
Coastguard will risk their lives looking for you, probably unsuccessfully (major tax payer dollars too).
I bet these lil guys are a bit stirred up (displaced and prob running like h#ll) AND disoriented right now…easily gonna mistake you as a seal too!!!! (and don’t even think they aren’t down here in the warmer waters with us right now guys)

Long period ESE swell from Bill moves in with solid clean-up sets at the standout breaks that can handle the size.
“Clean-up set - a set of waves much bigger than the going standard; a fairly regular occurrence when a swell is on the rise. A clean-up set should break far enough beyond the prevailing surf zone that it will “clean-up” the area of surfers by sweeping them toward the beach…”/inlet.
The inlet behind the riding zone will be elevated as well…the rips will extend into there.
