Since this thread is 50% tomfoolery, 38% insults, and 5% build.... and.... I don't really do percentages good.
I wanted to share some stuff with ya'll that I think is seriously funny.

BREAKING NEWS!

Y'all haven't seen the other side of the ski, but I never liked the paint that I laid down. I put more paint on last night cause it was bothering me, and that didn't look good either. So I just removed all of it, and I'm back to the orange chipped paint.




Why am I doing this instead of chasing issues on my engine?

Well, it you go back to the beginning, you see that the whole ski is orange. All that stays. It's automotive quality paint. What I'm adding is rattle can. But I think I can make rattle can look decent, especially on a ski that's just gonna get beat up...

so updates.....


I pulled the tank to hunt down my fuel system pressure leak issue. I think my tank is bad.
So that leads me to either a new OEM tank, or a tiny a$$ kart tank. I'm really REALLY sick of wrestling the factory tank out of the ski. Not only is it a PITA, it scratches my fancy black chamber. Everyone say "oh noez!!!"
First world problems, but problems none the less.

So after a little searching here on the X.... I found a solution. Since I like building suspense, and.... Let's face it, being dramatic, I'm gonna wait till' I have the replacement in my abnormally small hands to show y'all.



Also, I haven't popped the hood in 3 days. I have small issues to tend to, and guess what....

Im tired of dicking with the motor... I'll do it later. I dunno when. Working on motor issues sucks. It's sucks the fun out of my soul. I've worked on that damn thing everyday for almost two weeks getting it together, back apart, back together, the Mr Miyagi yells at me, back apart... Taking. A. Break.






Painting on the other hand.... I ludat!

Paint...

So I painted the left side of the ski black graphics awhile back and hated it. I don't think there are any pics of it, cause its mucho ugly.
4-5 days ago I tried covering up the ugly... Heres a pic.

Well... I didn't like how it turned out. And there are no pics of how it turned out. Just the images burned into my skull. No soup for you.

So I got disgusted with the whole thing, and wiped off all the 'graphics' or whatever you want to call that abortion of a paint job.
Pretty much what i was left with was this. The whole point of the paint is to cover up all the chips in the orange paint which should be visible here.

So last night I started getting back to it.

I'm not gonna lie, Stablaz08 or whatever his screen name is... his ROK'R paint job is a HUUUUUGE inspiration for me. So that will give you an idea where I kinda want to head.

Here's some sneak previews...

I like to mess around and see what sort of effects I can create, so don't lose your mind in disgust just yet. It will look cool in the end..... or i'll just start over... again.
