Thanks Jett...

So, had some time last night in between projects to work on the Really hull.

Prepped the firewall some, ground some of the glue out etc. Also cut out the ribs.

I used a oscillating tool to cut the bulk (just because) and my grinder with 36 grit flap wheel to smooth it out. The grinder probably would have been faster at grinding them down completely, but I like the lack of dust from using oscillating tool.

Cause dust is awesome....

The best part is how great it feels in my skin....

ok i think i am going to reinforce mine now so i was wondering how you got them so smooth. i will do that and did you fill the bond line too? i forget what you fill that with ahah

There are a variety of procedures. I think the most common is to mix up epoxy resin and cabosil to a peanut butter like consistency and past it in. The Pro Tip for that is to already have your template for your composite cut, as well as the the composite (Carbon, glass etc.) While the peanut butter is still wet, lay your fully whetted composite down at the same time.
This allows it to cure as one layer and increases strength. Of course you'll need to make sure the sides are completely prepped before doing this.

Another option is resin and chopped glass.

Hi everyone. Is this build still going or did swapmeet finally buckle under the pressure and give up?

Still multitasking the RN hull along with multiple other projects. Today I hit the top deck insides with 60 grit grinder and 80 grit D/A, just to smooth it out. I need to make a pattern.

I got the adjustable foot holds in awhile back, forgot to celebrate!

When they got here, it felt like this...

But all I really did was this....
