Just got on for the first time since Friday and noticed both the stickied threads were gone and started to freak thinking the build thread was deleted. Upon some hyperventilating in to a brown paper bag I was able to scroll down and find it... almost ruined my day. haha

Build is looking great!! interested to see how the OG RRP holds come out.

So when are we going to see an extremely long post about the things going awry include gifs to help explain it? Also question when laying down the pink foam... Do you just fiberglass right over it? or do you have to use 2 part mixing foam as well?

Or did you just save the original try you cut out to put over it? Just seeing everyone using the foam pieces but can't grasp how you are glassing everything back together.

Sorry if it is a stupid question, i have never re-foamed before and may have to this year.

I'm sitting on my porch, covered in white dust. I've been shaping the tray for about 3 hours while listening to a new iheart radio station based around the beastie boys, but I enjoyed cuts like 'This DJ' by Warren G, 'Mr. Wendle' by Arrested Devlopment, and 'Just a friend' by Biz Markie.... I was singing through my respirator. (Wife says I sound best that way.)


Anyone remember the post with the guy from SNL dressed in the devil costume? I'm about to execute that idea.

Worked some more this evening. Still shaping the tray. I think I'm pretty much done until Monday and I can get some aluminum plate for my gunwales/ holds. And i need some paper to make a pattern for my tray.


Im not sure how I'm going to make the cover/ baffle for my side exit exhaust just yet. Actually making it is easy.
I guess I should say I'm not sure how I'm going to attach it.... :thinking:
