Thanks Tyler, I heard you're working on a barrel roll... impressive on that heavy ass SXR. I hate riding that ski, which means i'm really really impressed that you're getting it around even half way. :Banane09:

I took pictures this weekend... just for ya'll.

Quick story behind the scale in the pic. I borrowed it from the logistics manager where I work. He has a semi serious, long standing substance abuse problem.
He has this click, or tick when he talks... gets all locked up... It's so bad that his co-workers say (openly.... in front of the owner) that he's the poster child for a functional addict. Everyone laughs except him. It would be funnier if he didn't have a kid... but I digress.

He was very concerned that I return this scale promptly... gee whiz Mr. Logistics manager... watcha need that scale for? :scratchchin:

Anyway... I have to research what factory flywheels weigh, but currently my 61x is running a 62T FW, a lightened #zero unit.
The FW on the scale here, is a lightened 61x #zero unit.



And this is some of the contents of a new box.



I swear to god, when I saw how much this weighed...

Also, in said box is..... another box.



Inside that box... JSS coil, MSD Enhancer, and hammer....

Ok... maybe not.


For the record, I still have a great deal of loathing for this ski. But I have hope for it.

I'm digging all these home made adjustable foot hold setups i'm seeing on here. I had kinda planned on the BOB adjustable holds, but who knows. I defintely want something along those lines.

I have a TBM FW in my sxr too. The SXR FW was a little over 4 lbs :shocked:It's definitely made a huge difference in bottom end. You are going to notice a difference too. Not sure if you want to do the bob adjustable footholds. The fin, the one that goes over your foot, is not going to take up room in the tray like for example tripping over the fin when not using it? It's the way how it's sticking out from the gunwale. Also, ain't the RN tray narrower than a Bob tray?

Can't stop laughing!!!!! diggin the contents of the boxes. i have heard both good things from the lightened flywheel and i have heard it does nothing noticeable so can't wait to hear how it runs.

This thread has so much win in it!

You'll like the TBM flywheel. It is noticeable, but not for how much it costs. If they were $200 they would be priced right for the power. Cleans up the right off idle---punch the throttle brapp. Also lets the motor rev back down quicker. That being said I have one and don't plan on selling it. It works how it is designed.

Should have another box hitting the porch today... don't mind sharing with ya'll wut it bezzz... 10/16 Hooker, purchased via the fine folks at Fast Elements.

Also, if anyone intends on purchasing a TBM flywheel.... ever... they require a 62t stator. I know this because I e-mailed TBM and asked. This may be helpful if you need to buy one... used maybe... from a seller who swears that it will work with a 61x or 62t. I'm not sayin... i'm just sayin.

I'm a looks guy. I like my chit to look good while it performs.
So I have this dope a$$ flywheel cover......... and a black flywheel. Yes, it looks bigger.
I have some ideas on how to make it more 'visible', but i'm up for suggestions. Feel free to suggest 'leave it alone', but understand that I probably won't.
