I think the most impressive thing about this hull is the first post is a link to a video, of completed hulls, that people are actually riding, and by riding I don't mean "hey look, I created a hull that gets up on plane nicely and doesn't ride nose high" in a poopty I-phone video that someone took holding their phone the wrong direction. Props for knocking this project out and shredding on the hull before starting a bunch of Hype.

I'll let you guys get back to your cock-fight on who is the best shade tree infuser.

No cock-fight. Blair asked me to actually move to michigan and help him build these more than once. I wanted to know how he was building these things. Didn't get any answers.

It's alll water under the bridge.

heres a few pics of mine with a sh!++y unfinished turf job, a mismatched chin pad, and a riva red pipe that is no longer in there.

I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to ride two different set-ups in this hull this weekend. Let me first start off by saying I'm more of a Blaster guy than a stand-up guy. I spend more time riding my Blasters than I do my SuperJet (maybe I'm just getting old ;)). This is a FUN hull! It cuts and turns thru the water well. It has a nice "light" feel to it without it wanting to ride up at the nose. It's very easy to put air underneath it even on flat water. I don't have the skill level to do the big tricks, but the ski's definitely give you the confidence to to want to try or push yourself to see what you can do. I basically spent the day messing around on these ski's rather than riding my Blaster. I haven't ridden many different stand-ups, but again I had a great time riding this one..thanks Jeff!

Hate to go off topic here OP. Well so are a lot of things that people shell out a lot of dough for, like a $1500 pipe, and they don't care. Like people calling something a copy but have a Solas or MAXXX stator section, twin tube pole, annular discharge carbs, center discharge expansion chamber, lightweight SXR or SJ hull etc. Although I somewhat agree with you Yamanube I find it interesting how people "pick and choose" who/what they will call out. The list is long. Good luck op, don't make something that is crackie, deliver on time and don't steal from people and you'll be like the rest of the good hull builders. P.S.- Providing some paperwork to aid your buyers in titleing their new hull will really be a plus, can be a lot easier with at least a "products used" receipt.

Agreed wanderer. I dont think the customer service part is going to be an issue with jeff. Great guy, trustworthy, kept me posted during the whole build, and even invited me out to ride his skis while mine was being built. And yamanube, i have one of 3 prototype hulls. The new design is one of its own. Yea, sure its based off an xfs, but it has more than enough changes to tell a difference. Go ahead and call me a d*** sucking fan boy, but im just telling it how it is.

air blair

you are the reason
Agreed, it's too bad its a copy.
Say if you were gonna copy something(not implying you would) what would you copy? A q8 copy, a square nose, a roundnose rockered ski, a bob or a rickter xfs. Gotta start off a base hull. No sense in reinventing the wheel here. By the way under no circumstance will i sell an xfs copy. Why sell copys when you can make improvements on a allready proven beast?

BOOM!

I think this none is my favorite. That red carbon!

if you can't see a unique ski in that pic, then there is something wrong with you. There is nothing copy about that, totally different. can't wait to try one out next weekend!

I didn't realize you were using chop strand. It all makes sense now.
