Innovation is the only way IMO. Clean, painted, and turfed is considered par in my book. Cool, unique, and innovative ideas outside of the norm get bonus points. Failures of something like tank and waterbox mounts in the first couple rides get negative points. Paint, turf, and graphics are all personal style and should never be the basis for comparison unless one just plain sucks or is immaculate. Find a new way to mount/attach things and good ideas for tanks, ebox, and waterbox.
This is ski buildup...not ski assembly with different engines and different colors.

Very well put John.At least this way we can kind of challenge each other to doing a better job.Shane will build a nice ski,no doubt.l guess that all sounds kind of korny.but too bad.
Front foot hold install pics.Thickened epoxy,18oz biax glass on the outside and then carbon on the inside. Also got the in hull exhaust tube back yesterday.We had a small communication glitch.l told them to just tack the welds up,to make sure my mock up was correct.But they went ahead and welded it up finished.l bet the look on my face was like: :aargh4: !!! Somehow it fit.l just had to twist up a touch.Has anyone else other than maybe one of the shops have built a Freak from the ground up? l have to say that Tem builds an awesome boat.EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SPOT ON.l have had ZERO issues with anything being out of alignment!

Question for freak owners.Ebox has to be off center,is that correct? From mocking it up l need to place it over (pic #3) to the left side away from the bpipe.Correct?
