I think u should bend that thing straight up like the exhaust stacks on semi's or one of those 4x4 setup for muddin'. Maybe chrome it out too.

Three half inch cooling lines. I only need two now so one has a threaded fitting that I will use a pvc cap on.

The scupper line is also threaded so it can be capped off too. It is 3/4 inch flex tubing to save some weight since the versaplug max has a 3/4 " diameter. I used the same fitting for the steering for asthetics.

The trim tube fitting is also threaded to allow it to be capped off too. It is 3/4" line.

The cooling and trim lines are pex tubing with brass fittings and stainless crimps.

Everything was sealed up with 5200. Then a layer of epoxy over that.

You can also see where I cut into the hull for my front foot/heel hold. I want as much lateral leverage as possible.

Silly rabbit...don't you know Don doesn't treat his stuff like u do, roughian! His equipent is rinsed with Cambodian breast milk after each ride and then wrapped in fine, Moroccon silk pajamas for trailering. Doomarse.

Nothing new to report.Been working in the living room/office the last three weeks trying to get redone. My wife has been sooo awesome the last couple years with the ski builds. She has left me on a loose rope without pushing to get this done. And it has been a typical redo.Wallpaper that wouldn't come off, stuff you think would not happen, etc. But the walls are prepped, ceiling painted, wall built.l lack prime/sealing the walls (finish painting),crown and base molding, and the big one a new wood floor.

l'm supposed to get the ski back this week, but l'm gonna stay on course with the room.lt is my "ticket to ride"!

A little taste of the color and paint. The shop is wet sanding and buffing some dirt nibs out in the morning and l will pick it up in the afternoon!

The color is carbon black with white and blue pearl in the formula.l had the shop add the same amount of red pearl. So you get a black somewhat purple color but then different angles pick up the light different.Just the effect that l was looking for!

l got some done on the freak this weekend.Been letting it set all week for the paint to harden up.And the wife and l are close to finishing the redo in the office. Now just molding and wood floor.Any floor guys on the X here??? l never have put down a wood floor.Today l screwed down the motor mounts, the clips for the straps on the gas tank, and waterbox.l aligned the pump and shoe and got them dead even.l shimmed the screw on the upper left (pic) of the shoe, that was all that it needed. The rear of the pump just needed a couple of medium thick shims (and don't ask cause l can't tell you what the exact thickness was! it worked ok) to make it get a good seal.5200 got applied and all cleaned up.And that was the second time today gettin nasty with the "white snot from hell".The pole brackets get some too! l just need to drill the marked spots to install the Tnuts for the pump.lnstalled the tow loop too. Most every hole was pre drilled prior to painting except for the pissers and bilge. So gonna be mostly rigging when she gets flipped back over.

Weight of hull:60 lbs Hood 9 lbs

A few more....The painter decided to clear and sand the ride plate a couple times.l didn't tell him that would be the first thing to get scratched! But man the carbon looks deep.
