Everyone who I havent mentioned and who came from out of town to make this get together what is was. It is so great to catch up with faces you might only see a couple times a year, if that. And to add to the list of things for newbies to would be
15) just start meeting people at the ride and make friends. I've heard stories of so-and-so who didn't know anybody so left on Saturday, but I also was told a few times of people who said they were practically strangers but were completely accepted by people at the ride.
Personally, one of the things that I get out of these events (like Lanier last year as well) is a huge return on investment in that I don't have to spend alot of money or stress about all the little things leading up to a competition event, yet I get back huge returns in the ultra-friendly atmosphere where everybody will help anybody and the ability to just have a good time. So, I hope we're spreading that at least a little to some people who came for the first time or are thinking about going to the next one where ever it is.
