One thing to think about is adding too much to the tops of the motor mounts.Hopefully you didn't add to much to cause an alignment issue.

That's a good call. I got the laminates over the mounts pressed down pretty good with those books it seems, its maybe max half a mm on top of the mounts.

Threw the aluminum mounts on and toss my motor on and the alignment looks good, one shim on the back left mount and it wash flushed up.

Looking at it, it's going to stink aligning once the front foothold is in, there's literally almost no space then!uploadfromtaptalk1395723086875.jpguploadfromtaptalk1395723130853.jpg

Thanks dude! Yeah those are McMaster heavy duty rivets nuts with M8 socket bolts that I had to grind down nearly to the hex to get to fit inside the rivet area to flush up.

I didnt know such a thing existed!! Thats exactly what I need. Looks like I need a special tool or is there another way?

I just gflex epoxied them in without crimping them with a tool. Then since there is recess space without compacting the rivet you can get the ground socket head to sit inside of it flush, plus a small o-ring.

Nice, very slick! I can see how that recess allows the screw to countersink. If you have extras you want to sell let me know otherwise I am going to order from mcmaster soon.

I'll have to check how many I have, but they're yours, just pay shipping. Shoot me a PM. FYI this is the level of grinding that has to happen to the bolts.

I got back at it today. I got my pipe installed and mocked up where my waterbox would be going for inserts to go in. I made the inserts by casting t-nuts into PP medicine cups, then grinding them down round.

I assumed you did I just couldn't see it on my phone.

Yeah I could probably have taken a better picture of it. But it is there! There is one under the carbon on the tail of the pipe and then just glass at the firewall end of the pipe.
