From a distance at the GA Freeride I saw the hood removed and it looked super thin and light. Any photos of just the hood, I didn’t get a chance to come look at it up and close. AKA ADD got the best of m… oh look squirrels.

Can ypu post a picture of the 13 next to the 15 so we can see your progression side by side
The 13 model is gutted at the moment. I can come up with some pics when I get home from work tonight. There are some similarities as I modified my original molds to make new plugs to cut up for the new design.

I can snap a few hood pics tonight after work. It's a whopping 3lbs and has a unique breather and pin mounting system.

Here are some pics of the hood. As you can see, I have a couple extra breather tubes that pull air from the front portion of the tray, but are part of the hull. The tubes are tucked in on each side of the midshaft to keep any unwanted water near the scupper tube inlet. The front pin and socket system was a @fatboyktm creation as we were tired of running the big ratchet straps. As far as the hood sealing goes, I designed it to be much like a ziplock container lid. The liner is a perfect female match to the ski so I simply spread a thin layer of silicone in the hood channel to create an o-ring type gasket. Also notice that the hood fits inside the hull just above the tray area. After securing the latch, its impossible to shift the hood in any direction and it actually helps stabilize the upper sides of the top deck.
