Does yours sit off the shoe to the left and the right of the shoe bolts? My front is out of alignment when the back is bolted down.View attachment 240457View attachment 240458
Yeah mine looked like that. I ground it down until those wings sat flush on the shoe. I've since talked to others that filled the spaces in with epoxy or something. This would give more "scoop" at the rear because that wedge would sit lower in the water. Chan's tend to ride tight so I wanted mine tucked in there as much as I could. I had to take quite a bit of material off the front to make it a smooth transition into the pump tunnel too. uploadfromtaptalk1391493116548.jpg

I don't run a intake at all. I made small filler pieces, for the recessed areas, out of Lexan. It kept the rear end loose enough for me. With the intake installed it stayed hooked up too much...

Grind and smooth looks to be the name of the game if ur gonna use one

Didn't run out of beer. Got 3 other projects going on at the same time. Wife wants a ski for the summer, boat needs dual battery setup, another ski on a trailer, and the BC to finish. I'm becoming sleep-deprived.

Anyone using the Cold Fusion ball studs that connect the steering cable to the steering nozzle? I did the quick steer mod on my old ski and the stud is hitting the ride plate. Am I stuck going back to the original mounting hole or is there a suitable workaround?

After taking a bit of a break from this thing, I'm back working on it slowly. I've decided rather than making this thing pretty, I'm just going to try to get it finished so I can get on the water this year. I got the electrical box mounted to the firewall using a Cold Fusion mount. I ran the bolts through the firewall. I need to figure out what kind of battery tray I am going to use because the OEM battery tray doesn't fit with the Kenney Keepers installed. Any thoughts on that?

I've got a fuel tank I'm working on picking up as well as a few other parts and I'll be back up and running. Just have to get a new pole since mine is MIA.

Bax, if u have basic glass skills u can make on fit specific for ur needs. Super easy just take ur current batter and wrap however much pad ur gonna use on battery on sides and bottom. Wrap in wax paper and use that as a mold for biax. After it cures just place how it best fits and drill it out. Mcdog made this one a few years ago and it's been in 3-4 diff hulls. Not a great pic but u can see its not oem but fits with KK's.

I have a light weight h2o designs that wouldn't work in same scenario for me too.
