Sorry I meant coil location. And problem as in they are the culprit for interference. Not a fault in the coil itself. No just the mounting plate
You can't use them since they're individual coils stock system only drives a single coil, and the stock charging CDI does not generate enough voltage for these coils.Have you tried the coils you're using with stock or aftermarket charging ignitions?

Yes the surf coils with 30KV output fits in a stock ebox perfectly fineyes 5 gall tank, around 3 hrs currently. This type ign system will be better marketed in stock ebox, any other high amp coils avail that will fit in it?
Not everyone rides the ocean. That's why I have two optionspretty pickup plates .Nicely done. im sure most will be fine with a lower amp coil, they will give longer run time in surf riding anyway
Yes that's correct, there is a price difference in the two kits too.true,i just meant anyone who ever rides ocean will have more interest in the stock ebox setup,so lower volt coils would prob be best anyway
I was thinking about a 7me silicone jacketIf rf issues should still be a problem, a shield made of half a dozen layers of ss shim stock covering most of the control module might be indicated. https://www.grainger.com/product/MA...m/rp/s/is/image/Grainger/2NZW6_AS01?$smthumb$
That would be soo sweet!Or i can get a pencil coil designed what clips straight onto the spark plug. No more ignition wires, no more mess
