I think the 66E would be the shiot in a SURF REV 4 sure. I am not yet sold on it for flatwater unless you went at least 947cc or 1200cc to account for the added 25#. But for your needs Idok I think it will be SICK and the hull will handle better with more weight to the front. U will be needing that tank fixed after all bro!!!!! The 3 gal tank wont feed that beast long and the OEM prolly wont work with that pipe. The pipe will solve the water box issue though as it runs NO waterbox. Just step up to twin Full Specs bro, dont sweat the single carb, leave that behind with the 61X motor LOL!

have you seen the size of the ports on this motor? they make the 701 look like a toy. I'm thinking a single will hurt performance alot. maybe it's got enough power to spair.

i havent messed with it much yet...I just got it last night....

everything looks pretty fresh, but the guy I bought it from thought it'd be a good idea to smear everything on the INSIDE of the motor with waterproof grease :dunno:

not to mention the head was on backwards, thank god it hadnt been run since then :scratchchin::stooges:

giong to get 5 gals of mineral spirits tonite...

already saw that but that does not count..... I am talking about someone here on the boards that has actually installed and run one for a while, I dont think vomit's is up and running yet.

send the CDI to Protec for the CDI mod they set the limiter to 8100 and change the timing a bit. Good luck on finding a used Riva CDI for the 66E motor. stock PSI should be around 120

didn't bonzia bob's build start off with a stock 800?

yup, until he got his custom domes....
