Those dowel pins for the cases, cylinder, pump etc. that state 6mm x 12mm: 93600A164 are wrong because they are 14.05mm in length. If you use them they will not seal properly without leaving a gap.

The Yamaha OEM dowel pin measures 6.00mm x 12.10mm actual size.

If you order McMaster-Carr dowel pins go with the 6mm x 10mm size because the actual measurements are 11.90mm for the 316 stainless and 11.75mm for the 18-8 stainless pins.

Here are the correct numbers to use.

93600A162 Metric Type 316 Stainless Steel Dowel Pin M6 x 10mm length pack of 10 for $7.74

91585A145 Metric Type 18-8 Stainless Steel Dowel Pin M6 x 10mm length pack of 25 for $7.75

Send them back or just grind them down some, because they're too long and don't work without sealing issues.

It's either a manufacturing problem or they're being mispackaged as 6mm x 12mm dowel pins.

I re-order both stainless dowel pins in the 6mm by 10mm size and they work perfect.

Good catch, I'll edit the main list.

Hmmm, I like what you have there minus the fact that you have to be registered with google to even view it let alone modify it. Is there a way to turn that off?

I ordered them, and they are rounded at the ends (tips are not flat).

Thanks for the correct numbers, I'll get it exchanged.

I know there are at least 2 different sized dowel pins used on the SJ, anyone have the other.

More specifically, anyone know what is used for the pump to hull and pump to impeller housing.

So I finally placed my order. I am once again amazed at the speed of their shipping. My order was placed at ~3:45pm monday. The parts were on my doorstep when I got home from work the very next day and of course that is with standard ground.

I did get the viton (gasoline safe) o-rings for both the 1/4" and 1/8" coupler size quick disconnects. They only come in packs of 100, so for the time being I'm willing to hook people up with some of these for free if they contribute something useful to the thread.

I also attached a quick pic I took of some of the items on the list. It shows the screw porp valve w/ 3/8" ends on it, the fuse and fuse holder, the three different size quick disconnects (1/8", 1/4", and 3/8"), the tygon fuel line (3/16" and 1/8"), the braid reinforced clear blue cooling line, and the clear wire reinforced bilge line.

Those quick connects....

The female half is identical to the jetworks one... but the male is aluminum.....

Just FYI...

Good find I wish I had no spent so much money on the jetworks last year..... but I use mine to adjust flow too....

You figure anything out to adjust flow with those???
Will the male end accept inserts?

The Jet Works fuel line restrictor I have has a plactic release instead of the stainless steel one like Dustin posted. I would rather have the stainless release. It might have been that there wasn't any lube on mine but I was scared to death to take it apart the first time I disconnected the two. When I order me some new quick disconnects, I will try to see if it will mate up to the stainless version...

Do it twice?That's DooDoo
interesting note on the brass restrictors in the jetworks quick disconnects... either the brass or the aluminum (or SS or whatever the silver male end is made of...) oxidized a bunch without even any use... I think maybe it was just the brass in contact with the aluminum or SS.... I couldnt remove the little pill without removing the silver male end and sticking a bar inside it to tap the little pill restrictor out....kinda weird...maybe it is oxidized enough now that it will not continue to oxidize and stick in the future... not that it is that big of a deal, but it would be nice to change them by just tapping it out into your hand when making adjustments
