Got started on my footrocket over the weekend, made a little progress.

This is the one I picked, black/grey scheme.



Wasn't too happy with their packaging job, hull was damaged from the broken crate.



I added some green vinyl pinstripes, havent decided if I like it better or not.



First hole .



I measured about 6 times before I drilled the pole bracket lol.



Some fiberglass cookies, yum!



Im sure not everyone will get this...
I was sooo happy to see pure powder after drilling my bracket



Hood seal, hood latch and bilge fittings installed.

My new cold-fusion bolt doesn't fit. It bottoms out on the threads, I'll probably try and cut new threads further down the bolt.



Cold-fusion vs shortened RN bolt. You can see how the threads start sooner on the RN bolt.

More progress tonight.
Just my luck..the hood doesn't fit..
The right side hit the hull before it fully smashes the hood seal..



The left side had a nice even gap.



Time to get the air powered sander out, I knew it was bond to happen at some point...



Test fit... looks good.



Primer, paint, clear...better then new... acturally fits now, yeehaw.

I'll be at texoma this weekend helping my dad move. I might bring my ski with me if you dusty and austin want to ride. I'm on the Texas side.

i think you have to use an OEM pole bolt because the head on the cold fusion one it too tall. might want to look into that before you thread it further. Krash has the best looking graphics, sick boat!

ya, instead of messing with it. I just ordered a new oem bolts.

Installed scupper last night.






Installed hood pad to tonight.

I went onto the pump alignment, but ran into a stag, so that'll have to wait till another night.
