the trivial complaints thread

A place to share random complaints about your day!

Got a UPS shipment from a distributor today. 2 boxes were 20ish pounds, the 3rd box was 150lbs. Why they didn't separate the product into 3 50lb boxes is just stupid.

Also, the starter in my car took a dump and I've had to walk to and from work the past 2 days and for the next few days until the starter shows up.

I decided to go the extra mile and mop the whole shop today. What do I get in response? Our half retarded facilities manager complaining to the higher ups that since the floor is wet I have now created one of the most unsafe work conditions he has ever seen in his life. You would have thought I planted land mines around the whole damn place. What a stupid POS. That's the last time anyone will ever mop again as long as that retard is around. Just call me the new slick rick.

Went to the doctor because I wasnt feeling good end up on dialyses a couple days later. Now thats screwed up, so much for ski season this year.

errrrr, 150+20+20 is 190 / 3 = 63.33 lbs each or
150+20 is 170 / 3 = 56.67 lbs.......

you would have needed a 4th box at either 6.67 lbs or 13.33 lbs to be able to somewhat equally be equal............

Just saying!!!!!!!! ;)

I mean why pack 150lbs of hundreds of small items into a flimsy cardboard box instead of 3 or 4 smaller, more manageable boxes like the other two 20lb boxes they shipped with the same order. I'm working alone and don't have a hand cart. I ended up humping the box down the hallway lol

I was going to. On my honda CRV the starter is tucked up and I'm not able to give it a smack. The intake manifold needs to come off to replace it too.

What year CRV is it? If it is a 1995-2001 with a B series engine, you dont need to take the intake mani off.

l want to say this is not trivial, but some may think so.The drive belt on my Lawn Boy walk behind mower needed to be replaced.l buy one and go to install it.Gonna tell you all a long 3 hour ordeal and story in short form.

Would you think that an engine would have to be removed from its deck to R & R a belt to be replaced!? Well chit,it did! Removed the whole engine from the deck, then removed some sort of housing that helps to make the exhaust quite to actually get to the pulley that the old belt was on.Three friggin hours.

Dam,what the hell were the engineers thinking

Damn son! Sounds like my life...simple 30" project takes all day or all weekend. Feel ur pain Don. I will say I grew up on a Lawn Boy push mower and I beat the chit outta that thing for 10 years. My dad would go bonkers when I purposely mowed up sticks and whatever was in front of the mower. Those offset front wheels and premix gas. Brings back memories.
