2 zip ties will take care of that.
The bigger question is why is your daughter dating such a doofus? How old is your future son-in-law?
He just turned 21. All things considered, he is a really good kid. Very polite, doesn't drink or smoke, doing great in college, works two jobs, and most importantly treats my daughter like a princess. So, if his lack of mechanical aptitude is going to be my cross to bear, I am fine with that.

Hey, This way you can teach him and he wont be a know-it-all........
This past weekend there were some University Students at our Sailing club. They know all there is to know about sailing.......... Yet, They went down a long channel that is pretty narrow and got up in the rocks. Club member rode a seadoo down there and they said they were fine. 2 hours later someone went to get them. They were 40 yards from the wind and could not get to it. The wind was even blowing the direction they needed to go......... They had 2 paddles in the boat...........
I took a week off of work so I can redo all the flooring in our house, (1700sq/ft). It's day one and if my knees weren't hurting enough already, I had to go and kneel on a carpet strip and bury at least 5 of those nasty little nails as deep as they could reach.
Get up, Go to Lowes or HomeDepot and buy some knee pads.I took a week off of work so I can redo all the flooring in our house, (1700sq/ft). I found a trick that works pretty good, if there are upper and lower straps. use just the lower. Or, dont strap them at all. Just place them under your knees and slide them when you move. One of my tile installers does it this way.I have knee pads. Good ones even. The straps around the back hurt almost as much as going without. I had them on earlier and discarded them where I was able to kneel on the old underpad.
So I replaced the thermostat on the Jetta yesterday. Started it up and all seemed well. Heading to work today and the oil pressure light comes on. Stop, check oil, level looks up. Start it back up, no light but there is a terrible clicking/tapping noise now. Sounds like it's coming from the head. Awesome.

Speaking of car probs, my 4runner started this thing today where it would idle really low for a few seconds then go back to normal. I went to make a U turn this morning and it died, only reason I knew it wasn't running is the Power Steering stopped. Started it back up and away I went. I imagine its something easy but who knows.
Still no job offer. I checked with my contact at the new place and he said "We're getting final sign-offs internally, its taking a little longer than we hoped, i'll keep you posted."
The only good news is that I'll probably get to collect one last commission check before I leave my current place of employment. This is so crazy.
