I have a lot of legitimate complaints about my gig but the hours isn't one of them. I'm not even going to discuss my hours. Y'all would be pissed!!!

Trivial complaint of the morning.

Sprinklers are set to go on at 6:30. Each zone runs 15 minutes.

I get up at 6:45 and about a minute later it sounds like a machine gun. Water is shooting 20 feet up and landing on my neighbors garbage can lid.

Crap sprinkler head blew out.....okay no big deal, shut the zone off and fix it tomorrow.

Walk back upstairs from control box in basement, 4th zone goes on in backyard. ....... Same thing. Shooting a geyser 20 feet in the air.


So either we got a huge spike in water pressure or I went buck wild with the weed whacker when I mowed the lawn Tuesday and killed two heads somehow.

Both of them had the tops pop off. I've never seen that before.

Worked great for about an hour, then melted the front piston. Guessing we pinched a gasket or something and caused an air leak.

Trimming some more fat in the friends department. With the friends like I have who needs enemies? It's been a crazy a$$ month. Why can't people just be nice and care about other human beings?

Went to the park to fish the creek and catch a couple trout for dinner. I rarely have time to myself to fish the creek during the week so I was stupid excited.

A group of full grown adult idiots were swimming and throwing rocks in my favorite spot. Not only were they drinking (no alcohol in the park), but there are 3 signs within eyesight that say "no swimming". If I wasn't solo, I would have said something.

Go to my second favorite spot, kids smoking cigars and throwing rocks. Ok, go ahead. I know what it was like being a teenager.

So I walk 4 or 500 meters downstream and find broken glass bottles and beer cans all along the way. No respect.

Top that off with losing 5 trout on a new pole and snagging a submerged branch and not having any spare fluorocarbon leader line.
