My trivial complaint. Trying to stop smoking. My company pays for nrt or replacement therapy. I chose patches. I was almost bed ridden by the side effects this week and sicker then I've been in years. Sadly they where working till all my muscles locked up couldn't walk and had migraines and sick stomach for a week after removing them. Every side effect listed I had. Sucks! Guess I'll have to go cold turkey or nothing to make it happen.

Shopping Craigslist for a bass boat. Come to one that seems to be a decent value but it's a couple hours away. That's ok though it says it has 8 pictures, that should be enough to at least judge exterior condition and as to whether it was well maintained. First picture shows boat from about 1/4 mile away. Next 7 pictures are taken from all angles and from a more reasonable distance, but the boat has the cover on it in all 7 pics. C'mon people!!!!

People do this all the time where I'm from. Or try to sell a quad that's covered in 3 inches of mud everywhere. I just assume that if they're too lazy for good pictures and too lazy to clean their equipment then they're also too lazy to maintain it properly.

I agree. That is no way to sell something! Drives me nuts. I dont even look at a CL listing with no pictures unless it happens to be the deal of the century.. I flag listings with no pics..lolol

Cleaning up a Stratos 278 to list for a buddy if you're close to NC. Would send you a pic but (trivial complaint time) I dropped my phone in the lake this weekend

Open my door this morning and this little bugger almost got stepped on with bare feet! Its a baby and he is inside of a small Campbells soup can. The baby ones are the most potent and can kill small children. My G/F stepped on one on her driveway last year and it was not good, I tell you.

Yeah.... No thanks. Michigan sounds better to me now.

lolol Cmon dude, its awesome... Its only 120 degrees out with Scorpions and Rattlesnakes(and lots others) running around! :)
I ran over a rattlesnake the other day coming down my side street. Somebitch tried to bite my tire! Then you cant leave them on the road, you have to bury them because mosquitos can take their blood and then bite you or your pets and can get u sick(animal control guy told me this). I usually just chuck them way up on a hill/cliff where no accidental leashless dogs could get to them and the buzzards/coyotes chow down...hahah

Portable AC unit in the garage ain't cutting it. :(:(:(

Gonna try adding R30 fiberglass in the ceiling this weekend...up in the attic...which these days is between 126-132F....while wearing a tyvek suit...with a hood...and booties...while wearing a mask...and gloves...while working with fiberglass insulation...at >130F temperatures...

There's a very good chance I'll stroke out before it's done and I won't have to finish it so there's always that to look forward to...:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Did I mention it's gonna be hot????:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Just pick up a beaner when you go get your insulation.

OMG, just about made me spit me coffee all over my new laptop with that comment, lol.

It's only 12 rolls and won't take long at all. It's going to take longer to move all my chit and pull up the decking than anything.

Go return that portable and install a regular window unit through the wall. 220 powered. You'll be in there in your Canada clothes working.

If I couldn't bring myself to cut a 5" vent through the wall, there's no way I'm going to commit to cutting an opening large enough for a window unit.

That's alot of chit to move.

5 minutes tops. I don't have to remove it, just shuffle it to the other end for a bit. And the decking is held down with just a few nails per sheet.

The job itself will be simple and quick. My only concern is the heat but it shouldn't be too bad if I prep things in advance and hit it early. Temps don't break the 80's until after about 8am so a 5am start will go a long way.

The issue with the portable units is usually that there is no condenser coil air inlet, so you are sucking air from in the garage and pushing it outside, if that makes sense. Mini split is the way to go! 2.5" hole in the wall, and I feel like it adds to the value of the house. This is the indoor unit of the 12k BTU I just installed in the shop office. Off brand but has a Toshiba compressor, all the cheaper ones on eBay are seemingly identical.

Can't even hear the damn thing and it'll freeze you out of the place! And it's a heat pump so you'll stay toasty in the winter :)
