Fing thieves i tell ya. Last Wednesday i was hit by a car (i was in the bike lane) while decending a hill on my carbon bicycle near a busy intersection. Thought i was ok, feel ok, but my stomach turns everytime i think of my bike. Lightweight high mod. Carbon does not give when a car hits it. Greiving the thought of having to throw the bike away basically bc shop says its unsafe. Feels like i let go of my ski on big waves day and barely made it to shore. but....f---ing cars man! And f---ing thieves!

One thing that has been making me angry lately is amount of people that are not willing to ship items to me off craigslist. I don't understand how people think they can become screwed when I'm the one taking the risk sending a random person paypal and hoping you get the item in decent condition. "Do you mind if I post it on eBay first and then paypal me via eBay?" Really buddy how about just take my money..

That sucks...I had a Sea Doo Jetboat stolen a few weeks ago. So we beefed up security at the storage lot...finishing up tomorrow.

We live in a neighborhood that is still under construction. The amount of theft going on is outrageous. We kept blaming the construction crews until someone put up cameras. The culprit is some skinny little white dude that can't be old enough to drink and definitely doesn't look like he has worked a day in his life. Still haven't caught the little poop even with the photo of his face. If my next door neighbor catches him he may not live. The kid stole his wife's wallet out of their truck the day they came home from having a new baby. He's livid.

My trivial complaint is I'm trying to advance at my company. The supervisors want me all the way to the top and comes with a lot more pay, and they used to be able to push qualified people ahead. Well now company wide I have to serve my position for a year before I can advance. So even though they want to hire and advance me I can't until next April. Good thing is once I hit that mark i have a new job waiting for me. So i get to do my time in the hole till then. After that much better things will be happening.

I've been kinda in the same position. Moved up to a new position almost 2 years ago that was 2 pay levels above what I was making before. But there was a pay freeze at the time(low oil prices) and company rules are that you cant go up more than one pay level per year, so now I'm still waiting to get raised up to the same pay as all the others in my position.

There's a lot of that going around. I took a $30K/year pay cut to come to my current employer over 3 1/2 years ago. The plan was to close the gap and be back up to my old earnings by the end of the second year but that did not happen.The first raise was great, the second and third barely covered the cost of living increase.

My review a couple weeks ago said I had met the qualifications for a "Senior Tech" so we shall see what kind of raise this year brings. Usually the only way you get a decent pay increase is if you change titles so hopefully this is the year.

They are also talking about switching me to 4 10hr shifts. Still on second shift, 3pm till 1:30am but at least I'll have a 3 day weekend. Maybe I'll actually feel like riding again.

Is it bad that I'm complaining on Thanksgiving?? Before dinner tonight it's the only time I get to work on this thing, lol. Ended up buying a new to me car a couple weeks back. When I bought it, there were zero issues. No service lights, etc. So far in the last week the SRS light went on(fixed it by messing with the seat belt microswitch) , thermostat is finicky so my heat isn't consistent, and I'm having issues with the primary o2 sensor so I just lost a few MPG and I've gotta do some testing. Still runs fine but i don't feel like destroying a cat..
Thankfully the PO had the timing belt changed so I've got a few years till I have to think about it.
I got an absolute killer deal on it so it's worth the struggle!

Yes, it is bad. It's an older car. poop is gonna happen. We were about to get my wife a newer car. Finally figured out what was wrong with her 05 accord. Took 3 mechanics to figure out it was the starter and not the alternator or battery. I started looking at it like a jetski. What's the first thing you do when you think your starter is going out? Change the battery? Why? Because it's a he'll of alot easier than changing a starter then you rule out the battery! 400.00 later "I'm fine keeping my Honda" saved us 20,000.00. Go tinker with your jeep or pull pranks on your brother or sister.

I was mowing my lawn the other day before the snow sets in for the winter and I was in a rush because it was getting dark. As I'm getting close to being done with my front yard I stepped in a big pile of dog crap....... I DON'T OWN A DOG!

Also, there is supposed to be a rainy/snowy mix for about the next week. No snow accumulation, just nasty weather.
