when i was new to surf riding i um lets say should have had my limiting rope on my ski not in my toyhauler, i tried to "beach the ski" dumb mistake we all make them. but i had that glassed and reinforced and good as new few weeks later

The quickest and cheapest way to fix a stripped mid shaft.

Let me tell you, this WORKS! This lasted a whole season and its right now sitting in my garage still together. I had to cut the shaft to get the pump out...

I've seen that one done before. It works surprisingly well. Not a bad idea to get one last ride out of it if you don't have the replacement parts yet and good waves are in. Gotta replace the driveshaft and midshaft anyhow so its not like you are killing parts you don't need to replace anyway.
