Super Jet The why would you build a sn?

Can you give us more on how you did the hood?

I dont have many pics of the hood, not really my favorite part of the build. I layed my cuts out with fine line tape, cut it down and moved the pole tunnel forward three or so inches so that the the bend at the top of the pole would fit rite. I then filled the inide with two part foam, shaped it down and glassed over it, I left the foam in the hood and glassed in the bottom like a liner, figured the foam would give strength and buancy, no vents in the hood should be fine with the dual tubes in the pole.

How does the exhaust tube mount to the back of the hull? I want to do it on my hull. The only difference is the back of my hull is flat and not slanted.

I used thickened epoxy resin and wrapped a piece of 12oz glass on the inside, left the tube a little long on the back just like a quarter inch or so, then used more thickend epoxy, smear it around and sand it smooth

you may have just inspired me to do something similar or at least something with a sn. You got a final weight on the hull? I wanted to do some major glass work on either a kawi 650sx, 300sx, or a square nose. Wanted something for rec/freestyle that would be short and custom. 650 is obviously a super cheap hull to get my hands on, but wasn't sure if a sn would be a better platform to start with, it'll cost an extra thousand though to get a sn by me compared to a 650.
