Love the paint...flake is the way to go!

Yeah, had some issues when i first started spaying the flake but it ended up working out great.

Tem, Yes the hood is all white. Got to have a clean canvas for those sf stickers!

Pole, pump, and midshaft are in.
Pump took a little grinding to get everything to fit right.

Did that nose foam fit without modification?

I had to basically hack the top off the foam and then had to take a thin layer off in the bottom/middle area toward the front. Fits and looks decent in there.

Matt, My entire goal of this build is to make you look bad..........
I am dreading and looking forward to turfing all at the same time. It will really make the ski look great, but it will be a pain with all those curves.

She is painted. Went for the metal flake. It was kind of a pain but turned out cool. I just hope I don't get mistaken for a big fishing lure not though.
The metal flake really doesn't show that well in the pictures but I like it a lot.

The shop where I painted is the clean up bays at the RV dealership I work at. The more recent pictures are in my back garage.

Haven't posted in a while.
Got the ski out on the water last week. Now I remember how much I loved them the first time I rode one. This is the most fun ski I have ever ridden. It carves decent with a stock full length ride plate on there. However, it actually rode flatter than my stock sj hull so I am going to cut the plate flush.
It is so predictable and so flickable. I forgot to tighten my f/a screws so my covers fell off. I had to ride pretty cautious after that so I didn't really try any rolls or anything.

I'm hoping we get some Lake Michigan surf soon!

I took a couple pics of my little tow rope storage compartment too. It is a piece of black pvc 3" cut in half and glassed in place.

The SHCS on the flame arrestors look WAY more sano than the stock hex head ones - good call there!
The ski looks killer with the graphics on there now!
