Today was a good day - the counter to trivial complaints

Well after three days i am finally finishing up my first major turbo build for a customer. 4 inch thick front mount rotated garrett gt30 turbo setup all custom an fuel lines, tgv deletes 2000 cc injectors equal length headers and more. Waiting on a base map from tuner and a few shakedown runs to get it sorted out some from here. Should be over 450 whp on an 2014 wrx sti. Best part is i get all the take off parts for my car so turbo and other upgrades should put me up to about 300 whp in my forester. Nothing like cheap hp!

After just about pulling my hair out trying to figure this out I called in a old friend. Trim stopped working. Everything checked out up to the relay box replaced it still same issue. Been there since 5 just not got it figured out and working. Can't express how happy I am to have my boat back. This summer it's been one thing after another. Fuel lines, coolant likes. Dead batteries. Broke wires. You name it happened. Up until now it's been a tank add fuel charge batts and go. This was my view for way to long today. But it's fixed now and me and the boys scan get back to some serious practice. Still need to replace Arieiator and put in a new bilge pump but that will be easy. My boat is worthless without power trim

As you all know I've been going thru a divorce this year and it has been emotionally draining to say the least. Even when you are so angry with someone that you could kill them, beneath that are some very very strong feelings still, even though you'd love them to go away. I've 'dated' a few fine young things over the last few months, which was awesome, but in all cases, it was 100% physical. Well, there is a woman in my neighborhood that I've had a 'crush' on since the very first time I laid eyes on her about 10 yrs ago. She is not only gorgeous, but is kind, sweet and fun loving. We exchanged numbers a while back because she would text me if she wanted to use our beach, or borrow our paddleboard or stuff like that. Then to me the texts started taking on a different nature. Well, in all honesty, I thought it was just wishful thinking on my part.

We started hanging out recently and the emotional bond is amazing. It's almost like we've known each other and felt things for each other forever. When she looks at me, what I read in her eyes is something I haven't seen in my wife's eyes in decades, if ever. I can only remember that look from my first real love back when I was 19, and here it was again when I am 52.

I had to give it a true litmus test though to see where I really stood on this new relationship. I listened to She's Gone by Hall and Oates this morning. And for the first time I didn't fall apart or want to drive my truck into a bridge abutment. It was just an old song. Nothing more. I texted my new 'friend' about that, and she said I needed to listen to Blake Shelton's Honey Bee, because that is how she felt about 'us'. I now have one whole Country song that I actually like!
You know you got to post a pic for us to see.

Today was a great day for me. Boat is finally running to full potential. Trim is fixed. Only down side is my arriator broke and is letting I more water then I can pump out. But a new one has been ordered. After rebuilding one carb re synchronized all three I even gained 7mph on top end. I'm happy. Still some re wiring to do, new carpet put in and install new bilge pump and live well arriator but all in all it was a productive day. Comes out the hole faster then ever now. Big smiles for this guy

Well I've always caught crap for being short and small. But it payed off today. Had a tech leave and they had just ordered him all new gear. All carhart bibs jackets pants hoodies you name it. Supervisor said just throw it in the dumpster cause no one else could wear it. Guess what. Just my size. So I got some killer new cold weather gear right before winter. Hated to see him go, but at least it worked out for me.
