No Problem

Your welcome. It was well worth the work and the nuts and bolts. Besides, you can't beat having a boat builder, and inovator in your shop everyday.

Saw bill's boat last week! Looks good! Those guys in harrisburg have generated alot of cool products. Good Work Goose!!! Nice Pole and trim!!!

I plan on being at seaside!!!!

One missing riding lawn mower gas tank?

Now that I have read the post, I know what really happened to my mower gas tank. I saw it was gone today when I went to mow my lawn. That kid will use anyting in his ski. I guess I should be mad, because I am way too big to be walking behind a mower, but it is funny as heck that it is out of my mower. Bill said he got a small tank, and he wasn't kidding. Now I know why Brent keeps calling us rednecks. Goose you are something else..

What? There was a mower tank in there......

Chris, thanks a bunch for letting me ride your ski. I had a blast on that thing even though I spent 3/4 of the time in the water. I'm starting to wonder why I'm even f'in around with these X2s.

You boyz from Harrisburg make me f-ing laugh....Pretty sure we are going to see bill on sat. Hope your(chris) in for the trip to blue marsh....

after some more time on the boat i can finaly kinda put in words how its working out.the ski feels like it has alot of weight in the center over the intake grate with it being short i think its a good thing cause you can make it nose light if you want by raising the pole a little higher when riding.
the scaloped rear corners i dont think help much on rolls to be honest but it def tracks better when you make your setup wave its nice and clean and also when you do your turn to come back you can make it alot tighter and faster without the rear sliding around on you.
having all the weight centered as far as tank battery and the bulk of the pipe def makes the boat more stable and helps with rolls.

now the power.im still tuning to get the most out of it.but it definetly doesnt rev like 701 if you ride this and a 701 back to back it feels like the 701 has more power by how quick it revs but on the 800 with 150compression its a different feel of power.i still would like it to rev faster but honestly i dont think it has to with the stroke i got more height on my rolls and it doesnt turn the same rpms.im running way rich right now and wanna get my compression up to 200 and see what i have.it def its alot better than a 701 cause after about 2 gals of fuel i start to get sloppy casue im tied of hangin on where as my bigbore lastyear i could run 10gal of fuel and still be good to go

road billy's boat over the weekend and I must say however the wheels turn in his head, he made the boat work very well in the flat. It is so nice to have all the weight centered in the boat and moving up your foot hold 3 inches is amazing. It rolled very easy and we were even getting flares off of it. great time bill!!! Nice work!

that sounds weird to me bill, my pilot/pop off isn't dialed in yet but when I get past that circuit it'll hit the rev limiter almost instantly. I'm hoping to tune some more tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find.

Now that Bill has a real gas tank in his ski, I can now put my gas tank back in my riding mower and cut my grass. It was a good time riding with you too, wheels and d slicker , at Blue Marsh. I too finally got to ride Bill's boat. I have to agree with wheels, it was a sweet ride. It just put you in the right body position. Mind I'm still learning how to roll, but Bill's boat put you forward in the tray, and had the weight balanced nicely. The hull he built for me is not shortend yet, but it just may get cut this week. It hrts me to say this about cutting my boat, because Bill will say"told you so", but it really made a difference having a shorter hull.
