how about tpe-964 or bigger compared to dasa, xscream etc any one tried several engines? i know that its hard to compare these engines because setups are so different but just want to know more about the price tag of tpe.. is it lower than other am engines because its not as good as or just want to provide powerful engine with les $$

i do have modded cases in my engine, there is epoxy ewerywhere intake is way bigger etc but how can i be sure is it enough?

and other thing that make me wonder is why there is so small amount of ride video of this engine=)?

964 is cheaper because it's cheaper to manufacture and they are passing the cost savings to you. I got to ride several properly tuned 964's this past weekend and holy chit they have some balls!

I have a ton of ride time on a 964 and 1105, more than most. Just picked up an 1105 myself. The 964 is perfect for most riders, flat or especially surf. nothing more is required, other than tuning. I have seen multiple BF with a well tuned 964 from multiple riders. non pros, local freinds. Order it up, have it dialed in and ride it.

I have only ridden a 964 and it pulled very hard, if it was in my price range, it would definitely be in my boat.

This guy seemed to love the 964 setup we had in the ski we brought for him. 964 with a b pipe, msd enhancer, 46 carbs, solas 144 with a 14/19 prop.

Took 4th at Surf Slam with only an hour worth of tray time on the new setup. Gil is literally twice the age of some of the guys he competed against.....so stoked to have him on board as a sponsored rider.

I have the same guestion as iseewetpeople. And the same problem here in sweden.
No shop to turn to. Im set to go with the 964 or xscream ss900. The most importent thing for me is support. The rest of My setup is 2x46, riva intake, carbon reeds, 144 12vein, bpipe, jetinetics total loss, ATP waterbox. So guys please help me do the right choice.

Contact both builders. Get their advice. Add up the cost of everything that they recommend. Then forget about the cost. weigh in what all they had to say. Now Average the 2 factors for each builder........ Make your decision on which one you were more comfortable with.

any reputable engine builder will give you jetting for your carbs and after that its just a couple turns and ur done. dont be afraid to buy either motor i just bought the 1035 tpe and im now waitin. but pretty soon i will be putting it together and going to tune myself the best way to learn is to try.
