From the drive shaft coupler back, it all has to be Kawasaki 750/800 (drive shaft coupler, drive shaft bearing/support, drive shaft, pump shoe, 750/800 pump, nozzle, grate, and plate from an SXR.)

You can then use any engine you choose as long as your coupler has the Kawasaki damner/coupler style.

Most aftermarket couplers for Yamahas fix this problem. I ma not shure what coupler mods you do for the Polaris and See Doos.

It is pretty simple really, he just shims the engine up to make the propper coupler alignment and glues the metal plates into the hull where they need to be.

My questions is can you make the hulls accept more than one engine? Say Yamaha and Kawasaki engines?

Yep. I am not 100% sure but I thought the SXi driveshaft is shorter. No big deal since a lot of people use them to set back the engine in the SXR hull.

And I am not % sure but I thought the SXi and SXR intake grates were the same.

Some other things you would need would be the SXR handpole pivot bracket, and steering cable, ect... They may not match up with the SXR stuff. A lot of people use SJ poles when they go custom hull anyways. But you would still need the bracket and a pole conversion kit. You will probably need an SXR waterbox and fuel tank too.

So yeah a lot of SXi stuff would work but not all of it.
