Yes kevlar is kevlar and s-glass is s-glass. But there are about 8-10 differences between the two materials which I don't want to elaborate on. I put a lot of thought, research and calculation into my layup schedule. Also the pics only show the surface there is more going on inside the laminates. Remember this is a enjoyable side show to my career which involves high dollar consulting and tooling in a industry beyond skis. I have consulted or sub contracted for Orion Aviation, Bimini Marine, Mathews Custom Boats, High Jacker Racing (marine), LoPresti Speed Merchants (aviation), Velocity Aircraft, Liberty Aerospace, Pursuit Boats, Freedom Aviation, and Disney Corp. Not to mention I've helped EME at a loss. I've helped a little on Bogarts deal. And have had companies contact me and entertain the idea of me helping them: blowsion, wamilton, Riva, and a corp. name in the watercraft industry. My ability to do these projects at $40-$80 an hour came from my family back ground. I'm fourth gen. aviation development and third gen. composite structural design. This my life and passion can we keep this fun? I don't answer questions on your threads Steve. Thats where I think this sidetrack started. Lets just have fun building skis. And keep to are own business on these threads. I respect everyones ideas and projects and don't get involved unless its directed towards me. Also respect you and anybody trying to promote this sport.

You know how to work with composites, but you PR skills suck.

How can you make a claim that his PR skills suck? You have no idea what could be going on outside of this tiny little forum between the two builders, before you make judgement realize that you do not understand the circumstances and keep your opinions to yourself. Bobby, good work as usual on the top deck i look forward to doing business with you in the near future.

"Can't we all just get along" LOL -but hey thanks Trinity, I'm sure everyone who reads these threads enjoys your craft.
I've been a little enamored with carbon fiber and such since I watched a F-117a Stealth Fighter crash and burn before my eyes (late 90's Middle River, MD). The scene around here was insain and anyone caught with any pieces were to face federal charges. Top Secret Stuff -shhhhh

wow. youre more full of chit/yourself than i originally thought!:dunce:

as a general rule... people that feel as if they have to 'brag' about what theyre doing/have done are typically full of chit or trying to hide a huge flaw.

oh, and eric m says to say "hi" to bafoon bobby.

:haha:

Not bragging, Just sharing my background, maybe not in the best way. Trying to explain to those who have no clue about me that I'm not a hacker like some or those who use everyone to there advantage. The huge flaw was I trusted a complete piece of ******** of a person. What a piece of ********! :bigok:

keep up the good work bobby , i don't see ### on here helping anyone out or showing any builds
Thanks man. I've worked really hard to build a product that I would want to buy. People work too hard for their money to buy a substandard product. I've been getting calls on a regular basis from those interested in my products. 95% of the calls and e-mails I receive are from people who are not happy with a lot of known companies in this country. No need for details, but that is the truth. I'm trying to set a new standard right now. Not just for me, but for everyone screwed out of money. My approach is simple. I show a few people, some of you with knowledge in this trade already know, and when I talk to possible buyers I tell them no matter who you buy from, in the end, make sure you're getting the quality and material in your ski you've payed for. Here's one way to find out the build of your ski: Take the cut outs from your hull (exhaust, scupper, pissers, handlepole ect.), then take a torch a burn the resin out of the sample. (To do that just hold the flame on the sample and watch all the resin burn black.) Then start counting laminates as you peel them off since the resin is gone. If you know what you're looking at you can tell the weight, weave and material. I don't need to make up stories and tall tales. I stand behind what I build. I think it's time we stop the nonsense and get back to the build.:twak:

I always thought it wasn't bragging if you could back it up,Personally I would much rather buy a hull from a guy who builds airplane parts than from a guy who builds say fo example hot tubs, sattelite dishes or feed throughs, thats just my opinion though.

At the same time, there is a fine line between stating your work experience/achievements, and acting like your **** don't stink.

Regardless of craftmanship skills, if you carry yourself in an arrogant way thats a strike against you IMO.

Great products, sad to see some of the things written on here.

Trinity is right. Hard earned money is hard earned money. You deserve a good product, but at the same time you also reserve the right to support someone who is casting a positive vibe in the industry.

Too many whiners these days. People need to shut up about the past, let their products speak for themselves, and be happy.

Nobody likes to read this ****.

Nice product as usual Trinity! :fing02:

I though laminate schedules are secrets that we (in the industry) all keep to ourselves. Now, everybody can figure it out !! WTF:bsflag:

BTW sorry for posting in your thread again.

Sorry for the thread jack but I was curious if yall have heard of aerogel?[/QUOTE Yes its pretty crazy stuff. Its almost all air with less than .5% material which is silicon. I would like to see how its made.

one of my friends who is all smart and stuff keeps telling me about it and I was just curious if it could ever make its way over to jet ski hulls?

I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nut. I'm the furthest thing from perfect and my $hit stinks really bad sometimes. This started right after he wouldn't run my sticker which was the agreement. So I started over on my own. He and the other guy have been bad mouthing the piss out of me before my product even hit the water. I thought it stopped but I was wrong. Anybody can post on threads and share ideas , but the underlying jabs are pissing me off. It goes beyond this thread and into the industry. I don't like liars. Sorry to all, for all this crap. Trust me I don't want it, just want to make a little money, get back on my own ski, and have fun with my family and friends. I have no problem with the past I made my decisions right or wrong. Lets leave at that and move on.

Ive been running the Trinity hood on my SXR for over a month now and it is excellent . Very well made and really improved the skis handling. I will be looking for more Trinity parts for sure . A carbon top deck for the SXR sounds like a good part .

I would rather buy a quality product for a guy who may be a dikkhead than an inferior product from someone who is a really nice guy, especially if the price is comparable.Chances are if you buy the quality product you will never have to deal with that person again, the chances are also good that the inferior product will have problems down the road and the nice guy will turn out to not be quite so nice once that happens.Of course as always thats just my opinion.
