Mine would be nicer still.

Now thats what I'm talkin bout!

Not to get too far off topic here, but,
a good quality, lightweight, strong hull is gonna set you back 10k+. The XFT I have priced is 13800.00 to my door. I'm thinking about 8500.00 would get your new billet cases w/a 16mil crank and complete top end shipped to my door and would be more than enuf power to flat water flip a oem hull.

That would be pretty sick, your stuff is like sparkly jewelry.

How much does the 16mm complete motor cost these days?

Have you guys tested it with different carb & pipe setups?

How many HP's is it capable of?

Thanks,

Same price as it has always been.

A full billet 16MM motor is 7,887.00 USD, a 10-12MM full billet motor is a few hundred less, the only price difference for the 12MM motor is the crankshaft. That comes with a head and domes for the desired compression and assembled and ported as well.

The motor could be had for less if the custumer wants to do the port cleanup and assembly themselves.

I have PM'ed a couple of members the same price.

16MM HP estimates are around 180-200HP.

We have not made any dyno runs yet, when we do, I still don't think we will release those numbers. The internet is not a good place for dyno numbers as that is only another tool to tune the package. Dynos could be made to read any number the operator is looking for.

I really only meant "my" motor, as in the same instance as YZ said.

I know what carbon is using for a powerplant, I didn't mean to jack the thread.

But I really like the idea of a carbon fiber/Kevlar lightweight hull, big props to the several builders in here. I would love to, (and just may) have one to play around on. Technology seems to be progressing so fast that the "private" sector is able to reap the rewards of millions of dollars invested in what was once considered unobtainable except in the upper eschelons of racing, aerospace, military, governments and the like with deep pockets.

When Lenzi debuted his carbon fiber hull with the first 12MM billet cylinder motor in '07(I think) that hull looked so awesome. I knew I had to have one.

I have long thought about building up a boat, but I think a couch would be better, only so that my wife could be on it with me, or enjoy it herself. I just don't see her riding a standup and doubtful I could either, with a 200HP monster motor.

That seems very reasonable. When you say the crankshaft price is different, is that over and above the $7,887.00?

Is the 16mm version as dependable as the 8-10mm?

200HP on a stand-up would be so sick! :beerchug:

A 12MM will be under sir.

The price I quoted is for the 16MM motor. I threw in a price for the 10-12MM billet case motor, I didn't know if you wanted to know that as well.

The 10-12 MM billet crank material is smaller diameter, so it is a couple hundred less, so the motor price is less as well, I worded it a little differently, sorry if it was misleading.

I don't know the 10-12MM crank price exactly. I can check Monday, as everyone in charge of that is out until then. But in no way is it more than the price I quoted.

As always the bigger you go, the more maintenance anything will need.

Course the flip side is, in my opinion, the bigger the motor, the less you have to lean on it. Both in riding and motor-setup.

To me, one of the best parts of your set up is, if you wanted to run say, 265psi, you could without having to worry about blowing the epoxy out of the bottom of 62T cases.

True, or 350psi

I didn't intend to thread-jack carbon's deal, unless he doesn't mind.

If anyone wants to talk about the billet motor, I already have another thread going.
