Mcdog's about to run the new flame with the ultra light flywheel with a 1105. He's been a MSD guy up until this year. I'm almost scared of how much a arm stretcher that things gonna b.

Matt E has back to back compared the two way back when the flame was new in its first generation. The MSD always performed better...in terms of all out performance, but that said, I've converted to a ATP Flame now after a full season of absolutely zero issues all season and the ease of tuning. MSD can be reliable to if setup properly, but I love the tidy setup with the flame in the oem sized box.

That is what I figured. This will be too much motor for me regardless.
only for a little while, it wont be like getting on the brawler. you know your hull and youre used to it with a somewhat powerful motor anyway. youll be changing curves by the end of the summer bacause youll be going for doubles
 
Spec for ours will be 1105, (supplied with pump and race gas domes) ATP48s or Full spec49s on boyesen manifold, PFP, ATP twin spark total loss with ultra light flywheels. These will be paired with MAXX 148 pumps.

Cant wait :D
 
Anyone heard anything about the ETA of the latest batch of 1105s? I ordered mine back in November and they said mid-Feb for completion, but I haven't heard anything from them. Sent a couple of emails over the past week but no response. I can't wait to get this motor in my hull!

Can anyone recommend some jetting for 49mm Full Specs on this motor with a B-pipe?

Setup I'm going to be running:
Carbon Brawler
1105 TPE on pump gas
49mm Full Spectrum carbs on a Boyesen mani/reeds
Ported B-pipe
148mm Maxx pump
EPIC ignition with a lightened flywheel
