Weighed hulls today
OEM(no rideplate)=165lbs
CF(with CF rideplate)=86lbs

WDK-1200 will have more torque on the bottom
EME-1000 will have to be running at 200BMEP @ 7000rpm to get that kind of hp, whereas the WDK-1200 only needs to run 180BMEP @ 6500rpm

Pump in - did a 10mm set-back on the whole unit
Modified R&D scoop-grate on
The carbon rideplate has been D-cut
The rear lip of the hull had to be cut for trim-system(+- 30degrees trim)
Hood is on

Steering is next

Rotation that is freaking sweet! So how hard is it going to be to get the Yami engines to mount up in the X2 hull? If a 1100 Kawie engine wasn't so heavy, I would suggest one of those based on that old pic of an X2 with one floating around. Then I got an 1100 ZXi with a blown engine and realized it was way too heavy!

The mounts are easy as the hull has aluminuim pads running the length where engine mounts need to go, just mark, drill and tap.
The driveshaft will have to be shortened though
