On another Note, It looks like I sold the RRP today....Just waiting for conformation

I saw the blue boat was withouut a hood, but orange girl looked latched.

I was just curious and asking is all.

this is how a "Stroker crank reliability" thread gets started.

Pits in the crank pins and crank bearings, no matter how small, cause the failures. No they aren't reservoirs for more oil.

soooooo if I completely filled my cases with oil that would be the best way? Dump it out in the summer lol

I would like to keep this puppy as long as possible before rebuilding it, Any advice on scheduled inspections/Re-Build

Where you live....

If it were mine, as easy as it is to take the motor out.....I would remove the engine, take the carbs off, and clean them out, reassemble the carbs with oil, and put it in those two somewhere in the house.

But I am a nerd with some toys.

I pull my (big) boat motors to change the oil instead of draining it into the bildge. In my flatbottom and jet boats, I take the motors out in the winter to so bottoms don't get hook.

He has his whole ski in the house

I thought he said in the basement.

I have no idea how you east coasters and Canadians do it in the snow, but I imagine few people heat their basements. I wouldn't last a week living in those temps.

Buildings built below ground level always seem to seep water no matter what waterproofing is done.

Just my .02, worth every penny paid for it.

Things are a little different in Canada, Houses are build different, Almost every house has a basement and every house that does have a basement its heated, My basement is dryer then a popcorn fart, Typical winters are extremely dry and house have humidifiers

Isnt that the same as running the fogging oil while the motor is running, till is chokes out? I'll be re-buiding the carbs in the spring

I wouldn't be rebuilding sh it in the spring. I would be reinstalling my motor and adjusting a tune and going riding.

The $800. set of carbs for my VW are on the shelf with Marvel on them. Still look brand new. Haven't ran my bug in 5 years.

Everyone has their own way, you know what I mean?

OK,

Probably good with a good fogging then.

I like being safer than sorrier.

I used to live about 6 hrs north of Munkie and stored mine in an old greenhouse I converted to storage. Sleds in the summer, watercraft in the winter. Alberta winters are long and dry so moisture wasn't a big deal. I would also run my skis a couple times a week to burn out any moisture. I never fogged, just ran it 3-4 times after the last ride and then stuck em in the shed with the hoods on even. My SN lasted several years like that and the seadoo, well it was usually in the garage getting rebuilt anyways. The only thing that ever came in the house was the batteries.
