Waterdawg's 1200cc R.E.V.

I'll ask this again, has anyone spoken to the man about simply hiring a high school kid to handle the mundane task of shipping and taking orders? It seems like he has a following and has great ideas for product but needs to produce them. If that is the case hire a kid to take care of these simple tasks and dedicate more time to production, or train someone to help in that arena.

If the machine work is the hold up, contact a machine shop in the area to farm out some of the work, or call a machine shop here in Michigan, they have almost no work and produce the stuff and get it out to the public. It seems he has no shortage of people that want his stuff.

How about a 4th or 5th chance?

Although Sub may or may not be buddies with anyone on here, I can -- firsthand -- see where he's coming from.

I agree with the majority of his posts.

As I have told Sub before, I would not personally deal with him either (Waterdawg)......... But, We are not going to let sub come here and start insulting our members (I dont care what he thinks about me)......... He makes some good points but still dances around the subjects and never gives any info to back his accussations.....

"Funny how there is no answer as to why a supposedly paid for ski was offered up to a supposed pro/amateur freestyler to ride but denied for a respected engine builder. Instead of making innuindos (SP!) why dont you just say who it was instead of posting BS like this, I thought you always voiced your opinion, this sounds more like pure BS too me. As usual, the cult denies that which they cannot explain and offers lame excuses and diversions for the rest."

again, who was this engine builder......... That is like a news reported saying that "Today a man attempted to kill a well known person"............ There is no credibility with that kind of post........

It's not that simple Mike. The time consuming part is actually making the parts. Jeff has hired a few helping hands, but they were not up to his standards.

Sub, you know very well the story of that hood. Jeff offered to fix it and send it right back but Chris wanted to keep using it. I imagine he bought some epoxy and fixed it himself in 2 minutes. That must have been tough. Wow, what a crappy hood. The world almost ended. And to think he had to pay $0 for that hood. What a ripped off customer.

Like I said though hire a kid to take orders and ship the stuff out. It'll help a little.

Of course I'm open to a career change so where does he live?? I love the smell of resin.

hell, my Wammer Hood delaminated after about 5 hours........... nothing $5.00 and a unit of Devcon Epoxy could not fix......

Isn't that 5 dollars you shouldnt have to spend, after you drop 600 on a hood?

Maybe, im just cheap, i dunno. That, or i've had a horror story of my own, and I'm still bitter.

Just pointing that even the biggest Hood MFG can have problems........... I did not buy it direct so did not bother trying to warranty, plus I would have had to pay shipping at least one way, $35.00.......... So, $5.00 is a much better route.
