Nah, your like a stray dog, no matter how much you kick it, drive it 50000 miles away, it always shows back up!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, you don't need a REV or an X-Jet hull, Jeff has a conversion kit to mount it to a Superjet.
If Jeff's complete 1200cc top end is $4,000 (I have no idea if that's correct)
In my analysis I came up with 11K for this motor complete,
It's a conversion bed plate, a pipe & manifold, and an intake manifold.

Supposedly one month.
Not bad, the wait for a Lamey seems to be a lot longer than that.
That depends entirely on who builds it.![]()

If Jeff's complete 1200cc top end is $4,000 (I have no idea if that's correct) then it is actually priced quite reasonably. Here's what a typical Lamey top end might cost:
$1,800 unported cylinder
$300 cylinder porting
$600 exhaust valves + machine work for them (maybe more if pipe is counted)
$300 piston kit (maybe more for flat tops)
$400 girdle head
So that's $3,400 or only 15% less than Jeff's top end, and Jeff's will put out at least 30-40% more power than a nicely built Lamey, not to mention it's machined from billet whereas a Lamey is a cheap sand casting.
I'm not sure what Jeff is charging for pipes but I gave him a grand for mine. I hope he made a fat profit off that, a grand for all the development Jeff has done is an absolute bargain IMO (if it works, of course, which it looks like it does).
I'd think that 49mm carbs should be enough, some people are running a single 49 on built 701 engines. Even just dual 46 SBN's will feed up to 180hp.
BTW let's get those prices right! I know that the pv cylinder is a bit more (maybe $200 max) but not much and includes the PV's (+ misc SD parts)
The valves themselves are made by recer's edge, but the rest of the parts (housing, bellows, springs) are oem SD parts that may cost you a total of $150 or so.
I don't usually chime in on the threads that bash people or companies, but I can't stop myself on this one.....I called jeff @ waterdawg today to get some advice on my winter project and he's a standup guy...smart, friendly, and willing to help me...I think the one's on this thread that are hellbent on bashing jeff for his production speed or ethics or whatever kind of BS you people come up with, should learn to fabricate some things on their own and maybe you would find that more respect is given to you by smart people like jeff that took the time to learn how to build a motor or work fiberglass or paint..He had plenty of respect for me and my project because I knew some of what I was talking to him about and didn't just whine to him to do it all for me.....and to all that attempted to keep business away from waterdawg,,,,
I'm gonna spend money with him....so say what you will because it won't hurt my stupid feelings one bit.....
