I pulled the tank out, the motor and went over everything.
Had an exhaust hose clamp loosen up, the trim adjuster was also loose. 2 bolts on the bottom on the engine poked into the glass at the bottom of the hull.
I took a flapper disc and ground off about 1/2 the thickness of the bolt heads, I then glassed the gouges left behind.
Pulled my pump to check the prop...
This can't be a good 7/14 for freestyle can it?
It isnt a e 75, or swirl, but is it still decent?
The clearance is about 12 thousandths.
There should be about 2” between the top and bottom pole ends. I forget the exact tube length. They are a flat water hulls and are designed to ride nose high with really short poles. It’s actually a comfortable ride with the big heel wedges Jeff installs given the pole is at proper length.I made the rideplate about 3" longer. Huge difference in how it rides.
I bought new rrp tubes from JM and installed them over the weekend.
Today I worked from 630am to 6 PM , was over 100* good part of the day. Got home and decided it was a good time to go riding.
The poles are waaaayyyyy 2 long. I cut 4" off them from stock length, Thinking another 3" and test again.
The ski just sinks in the rear, too much weight over the back. Heck I may be too fat to even ride this ski.
I'll chop the poles the said 3" and see how it goes.
I really do like the longer bars when I am up riding. But it is just next to impossible to get up. May be due to being tired and beat from the heat.
Any thoughts or tips how to ride this thing?

I am trying to freeride it. I know it's not going to be a lake cruiser. I can do about 25 as well any faster it pitches me off the left side. Always the left.
That looks about how I feel when I ride it. What is your pole length? From steering pin to hull bracket pin?
The motor has so much friggin power, I know my prop is all wrong for it too. I need to pony up and buy a real prop. Fortunately my lady is in negotiations to buy a business. So all our money is tied up at the moment, plus we are still working feverishly to pay down debt.
More time on it. Got it. Will do. Need to shorten my pole more then try again.
I went to start it up tonight.... and click.
Damnit... battery is good, connectors are tight.. coming from the ebox.
Right behind the motor. 1/4" from the motor. So the motor has to come out to get the e box. Lucky me.
