I have CDIs if you need one but did you try Fiore Powersports? They are local to you and a great company to deal with. Ask for Chris (Flounder) and tell him I sent ya!

Finally got the ski on the water!
With the long ride plate, it rides awesome! Was shocked how quick it planed out.
And WOW the 927 absolutely rips! INCREDIBLE power!
Ski has pop like no other, carves awesome, flat spin 360 with no problem at all.

Re-padding the foot holds, they are far too large right now so anything up-side down, fall right out of the tray!

Just sorting out some back flow issues right now.. no bulk head, means the exhaust tube runs on the bottom of the hull to water box, so the water is pressurizing right back into the exhaust and flowing quick! Going to put a scupper, or bend some aluminum to make the hose go above the water line.. not sure which one yet.

^haha, ok clever...
I had it on the water bout 2 weeks ago..
just finally remembered this thread

Yea, ride plate broke with in 5 minutes of riding it.... not a full crack, but the crack started, it was only a matter of time till it was in 2 parts.. so took it off to make some more before it broke fully..

man the hull is a lot harder to ride with the mini plate !

Some rave about this hull with the long plate.. What's the point of having such a tiny ski if you need to add inches to the back to make it rideable?

Multipurpose hull by just changing the rideplate. Also makes the hull more attractive to a variety of riders and you're less likely to find someone who wants a shorter hull. You could practice backflips with a short rideplate and as you progress still be able to backflip with a longer rideplate yet also be able to chase boats or ride surf. Different people have different heights and weights and its the same reason they started making adjustable poles. So it'll fit the needs of a wider variety o people and they can tune their ski to ride/feel how thy want it to.

i seriously thought this thing was going to be a big old POS until i saw some kid from the UK? totally airing out WDK jeffs GP927 boat monday , at the beat every bodies ski ride, after the finals. this kid was doing tripple flips, BIG flips, rolls 360s and could have easily been a contender in the AM freestyle. i was shocked to say the least. i walked up to jeff and said, hey, i'm jumping on that. he said hold on. i said hold on? hold on to these nuts! needless to say, nobody else rode it and he packed up n bailed. LAME!

Is the ski useless for anything other than backflips 50 yards from the dock with the short plate? Serious question.

What do you wanna do? Thats the question. After you have the answer then look for hulls that fit your type of riding. The hull could be set up for different types of riding as long as you know how to ride

He knew you were going to break it... :lmao:

Exhaust back flow soon to be solved.. in line scupper!
Cant wait to get it back out on the water !
Motor has so much power!
I LOVE the hull, it rides incredible!

Almost done with the re-padding of the foot holds, did not account for how big they were on the initial pad!

With the short plate on and not being able to shut ski off for fear of back flow makes you burn quite a bit of gas!

Pictures to come next ride out! Hull flat spin 360s with no effort what so ever... i mean come on, we all know i cant ride for :):):):) and if i can do it, shows something about the hull and motor!

Daytona appearance or ban!
when I ride in Daytona I see stingrays, sea turtles, and various types of fish but still no flounder. My FL experience won't be complete till I see Flounder make an appearance in Daytona...
