Could you have set the tank sideways?

How long have you run the pipe like that? My concern would be the oring and ultimately, coupler failure

Can you remount the tank off center? No silencer or waterbox? Kinda loud? Make sure your feed lines to pipe and manifold dont touch anything, they will rub right through quick. Might want to trim them so they run straight and jacket them with fuel line. Were you able to come up with a coupler cover?Rok5.jpg

I'm sure you could run it sideways and make it work. I chose the simpler route and modified the tank because the tank pod was already bonded to the hull and I would rather melt a tank than start cutting the pod and or hull :) I have been running the pipe as it is for a week. Running full tanks of fuel hard without shutting it down between fill ups. I do agree with you so I'm keeping a close eye on it. Previous owner ran it in the exact same configuration without failure.

I'm running the waterbox, but its rear mounted. Very quiet. Good call on the lines. If your referring to the engine coupler cover, I'm running a stock superjet cover.

Sounds like you got it dialed. Best to get the feed lines as straight as you can with the least amount of kinks or curves. And you can jacket them with split water line or loom depending on the area. Glad you're happy. Wish I was riding
