Another cool picture. The surfers didn't seem to mind the skis riding around. I only heard good comments from the surfers watching or walking by. Most seemed curious of the skis.

Not really up on all the surf rules but I did see some show on TV about California surf and some of the surf riding spots had surf gangs that would actually put the hurt on people if they surfed their riding spots. Some people got beat up and there cars destroyed.

We don't have this problem on the rivers. LOL

Daytona / New Smyrna is known for having surfers w/ bad attitudes

Damn, I feel sick after looking at the pics. Nick I love the barrel that is in the last one you posted in the first or second set. I bet if the waves were not so good there would have been more pics. I would not have sacrificed any ride time for taking pictures.

Surfers are slowly coming around to the jet skiers in this area. Most of the good surfers now own jetskis in this area (Mark Wooster- my neighbor, Greg Geisleman). I have never had any problems, but it seems like the closer you get to the inlet the more problems there are. Funny thing is, it seems like they are not even from here. They are from Orange county when I look at the license plates and they weigh like 135 pounds. I could take out 6 at a time and they will still run their mouth. Punks!

yeah.. those pics were taken in the afternoon after it chopped up a little... the morning was ridiculous clean...

wish you were there w/ us... it was 3 straight days of great riding. It's still looks good. I went down to the beach today and looked, it was 2-3 perfect clean lines at 2pm... no wind even on it yet...

this storm was sooooo perfect...it did everything you want a storm to do...

they were stoked we were there because they couldnt even ride the closeout waves lol they were bunched up on the beach watching us and kept asking us stuff when we got out of the water :p

I wish I was there also. You just don't get it that nice very often. I will have to wait till this Sunday to ride again.
I did get to ride a whole bunch of flat water though. Practiced barrel rolls for a little while behind a boat. Way easier than in the waves. Consistent wave height, speed, pitch and most important water depth. I didn't get any video and only two pics that were in frame, but still fun. Just nothing like the ocean waves. Especially this weekend.

looks like FL got the same stuff we got here, was that some unreal ride time or what fellas,We got in a ride everyday from fri-sunday and some guys twice the same day, morn and evening.
tut,yea no question FL has way more ride spots,Ive riddin almost all the good ones between jax and sebby. There are plenty here in Va as well,we just got the best and most easy one,and its still not that easy with slow wakes and cops here, but the toon makes it alot more fun and chill. But we are able to put a crew in the water of over a dozen alot,IMHO thats were its at,each one is like a mini rager with all the space and no borders.this kinda riding makes it easy to recruit talent,we are a hard group to miss these days

I think I just figured out how you pick up so many chicks. They have no idea what you are saying and no idea what they are agreeing to.
He's as good as married now. As soon as he was out the water, that girl was on his jock within minutes. Enzo is about to turn in his stud card.

Sunday in Daytona had lotsa Florida talent riding. Must have been over 15 skis there. The west coast boys were representing big time (they rarely get surf and didn't wanna leave the water) CarterB was charging it and had a few of the biggest bails I've seen. He burned lotsa gas. Good times were had by all!!! I actually think Chris is crazy enough to go for a double backy. If the waves wouldn't have gotten so disorganized at 1pm on Sunday, I think he and others might have got him to try.

Nice thing is, there another depression out there heading this way. Hope it does the same as Bertha

Thats good to hear you guys were ridding a big crew in Tona,I retract my statement to "it does take a act of god to get a crew together in FL" Some of the pics posted are super sick. Im going to call BS on all the talk of the double backie in fl if it didnt happen over last weekend, cause your not going to ever get a better op than that.
whats the surf looking like there today?

she is from a rural town in France and has never even seen roller blades before last week....

needless to say she was pretty freaked out about our drinking and smoking habits... I pulled a bud out and she had no idea what it was...
